Rose Festival, Kaelaat M’Gouna (May)

Kelaat M’Gouna or the Rose Festival is the second oldest festival in Morocco, having been held since 1962 in Kelaat M’Gouna near Tinghir. This festival celebrates the harvest season for local roses (known as ‘baldi’ in Darija).
Here you can purchase beautiful, locally made rose products such as perfumes and moisturisers.
Essaouira Gnaoua Music Festival (25-27th June)

The Gnaoua music festival is held annually in the beautiful coastal town Essaouria. This festival promotes traditional Gnaoua music which evolved during the … as well as hosting international jazz and pop artists. The festival attracts between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors each year. Festival Jazz à Rabat (24th September)
